Talli is designed for comfort and being at home reading, knitting or doing anything that you love and adding a layer to your outfits for going out and about. The yoke has some increase rows to create a bit of ease in just the right place. The raglan shaping is classic and relaxed with plenty of room for adding a shirt, dress or pretty blouse underneath. Once the sleeves are separated, there is a bobble accent stripe. The body is slightly cropped and can be easily lengthened. The sleeves are finished with matching bobble stripe and are designed for a relaxed fit. The pattern contains all of the measurements to choose and complete the project. Talli is a fun marled classic that can also be made with two strands of worsted weight held together like the sample or super bulky weight.

There is also a long sleeve option provided

Talli Top is inspired by a love of the story of our lives, the telling of our tales. This is how the “Talli” name was given to this design. This top is about a love for all things cozy. Yes, it is a quick knit top but most importantly, knitting it takes you on a journey ending with a handmade hug if you will. The yarn for the top was acquired when my travels to surprise my husband with a craft beer from Hudson, New York landed me in the gorgeous shop of Loopy Mango. I parked the car (for the growler) and ended up parking right in front of this famous shop. I had been on a trip to Sheep and Wool NY and was on my way home, taking the ‘road less travelled’. I fell in love with all of their beautiful yarn that day. So a year went by and I was inspired to create this classic wardrobe staple with a touch of playful whimsy.

Special thanks to the amazing test knitters who have made the creation of this pattern possible!
