A round-yoke style pullover that can be worked with various yarn weights. It is worked top down seamlessly in round with simple cable and eyelet around the yoke.

2 versions are provided in pattern instructions using the same stitch gauge. Note that row gauge is less important for this pattern.
Version A - light fingering weight yarn, knitted in open fabric, plain neck edging with plain hem edging, cropped body length, and 3/4 sleeve length.
Version B - aran weight yarn with ribbing neck and hem, full body length and full sleeve length.

Sizes

  • 33 (36, 39, 42, 44, 47, 51, 55, 59).
  • Sizes are based on finished sweater measurements around chest.
  • 1 to 4” / 2.5 to 10 cm positive ease is recommended.

Yarn

  • Version A - Light Fingering Weight yarn, sample used Shibui Pebble (48% Silk, 36% Merino, 16% Cashmere goat), 224 yards / 205 meters per 25 grams skein), color Ash. 720 (775, 850, 900, 1000, 1070, 1150, 1250, 1350) yards / 660 (710, 780, 825, 915, 980, 1050, 1145, 1235) meters.
  • Version B - Aran Weight yarn, sample used Queensland Kathmandu Tweed Aran (85% Merino, 10% Silk, 5% Cashmere goat, 104 yards / 95 meters per 50 grams ball), color Lime. 755 (825, 890, 985, 1075, 1140, 1235, 1355, 1450) yards / 690 (755, 815, 900, 985, 1040, 1130, 1240, 1325) meters.

Needles

  • US #6 / 4.0 mm, or change needle to obtain gauge.
  • Also, 1 size smaller for neck edging, hem and cuffs.

Gauge

  • Version A - 17 sts x 34 rows = 4” x 4” / 10 cm x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch after blocking.
  • Version B - 17 sts x 26 rows = 4” x
    4” / 10 cm x 10 cm in Stockinette
    Stitch after blocking.
  • It is more important to achieve correct stitch gauge than the row gauge. This sweater can be worked with any row gauge.

Design
