From the pattern description: Are you ready for fall yet? If not, this sweater will get you there! Extra long sleeves with deep cabled ribbing and a wide, snuggly shawl collar will keep your wrists and neck warm on even the nippiest of days. Lace/cable motifs at the hem help to balance out the neckline and minimize the waist, flattering all shapes and sizes. Knit from the bottom up entirely in one piece, the seamless set-in shoulders and collar construction are fun and interesting for even the most experienced of sweater knitters.

Tesserae are individual mosaic tiles, like the hexagons that make up the hem of this sweater. (Bonus geek points: “tessera” is also the number four in Greek, and four of the sizes in this pattern have four full tesserae on both front and back.)

For fit, please choose the size that most closely matches your measurements, but feel free to add extra waist or bust shaping as you like—the stockinette body makes this sweater a snap to customize. The sample featured in this pattern is a size 44.5”, modeled with zero ease.

Pattern is a 9 page PDF, with written instructions and charts for the hem motif.
