With this pattern you can make a unique personalised birthday gift.

The inspiration for this fun blanket came from memories of my amazing dad who always made us laugh by changing words in songs.

The design substitutes different animals for the words of the HAPPY BIRTHDAY song like this:

               HIPPO BIRDIE TWO EWE
               HIPPO BIRDIE TWO EWE
                  HIPPO BIRDIE DEER 
                 ***INSERT NAME***
              HIPPO BIRDIE TWO EWE

This is an Overlay Mosaic Crochet pattern.

The pattern includes:

1. Introductory video
2. Charts with Xs
3. One-page chart for use with devices
4. Full written instructions
5. Alphabet charts
6. Templates for different sized names with different arrangements of hearts + musical notes surrounding the name.
7. Video tutorial for the border

All terminology is DC=double crochet, sc=single crochet + Bst= border stitch.

The pattern is 128 stitches and 160 rows.
