This a pattern for a pair of socks that is knit from the top (cuff) down on two circular needles, with an optional 12-inch needle. This sock features a single long cable stitch. which is tight enough so that the sock is warm, however it is knit with lightweight sock yarn, making it the perfect sock to wear all year round with almost any type of clothing that you like. The cable is an Aran cable, and comes to us from Scotland.

The sock stitch is both charted and written out.

The directions are written for all sizes: Small, Medium, Medium-Large and Large-XL, and are sized by gauge.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting and cabling ).

The yarn used to make the sample pair is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock yarn in the colorway called Key Largo.

The socks were expertly test knitted by Sheree Kuntz who can be contacted at ShereeKuntz@ gmail.com
