This is a made to measure pattern meaning you will take your own measurements and crochet the amount of stitches required to meet that measurement.

This is a size inclusive pattern that can be made for a small child to an adult size as it is based on your own measurements.

There is no gauge to follow.
There are a number of variations in the pattern, choose from;

• Capped frilly sleeves or full t-shirt sleeves
• A belt tie or opt for no belt
• A full waistline frill or split waist line frill.
• The top can be made in one colour - easy for beginners, or change the colour at a row of your choosing, this would be for an adventurous beginner of more intermediate skill level.

The pattern follows a simple 3 row repeat worked flat in panels for the front and back and seamed together, the full waistband is worked in the round. The split waistband option is worked back and forth in rows.

Recommended any cotton yarn or cotton mix yarn.
There is no set weight of yarn, though a DK or lighter weight would work best for a summer top.

I recommend increasing the hook size by 1 - 1.5mm than stated on your yarn choice to give a looser drape

I used Drops Belle in the colour-way Black and Pearl.
I am a UK Size 14, 5ft 7 in height and 38DD bust, I used a total of 8.5 skeins.
My pattern testers used Drops Safran.
