A nature inspired bonnet. This pattern is worked flat until the crown and uses two different weights of yarn. The brim is done in herringbone in bulky weight then switched to DK weight for the colorwork section. A 1x1 ribbing edge is used to prevent the edges from curling during the flat colorwork section. A latch hook is used to pull the yarn through the brim for the braids but can be substituted with a tapestry needle.
