Hi everyone! I have a really fun and easy cable knit beanie pattern to share today! This is fairly beginner friendly. You do need to know how the basics of how to knit and purl.

The cable instructions are clearly noted so I think even a beginner can get through this pattern fairly easily! And there are always a ton of videos on YouTube to help you with any knit stitches as well!

I knit this hat with Legacy Fiber Artz Yarn in the Sally sock kit which comes with this soft cream accent color. I held the yarn double and I also held a strand of white mohair along with it to give it that nice halo effect! But the pattern calls for DK weight, so if you don’t want to fuss with three strands of yarn you don’t have to!

Supplies:
4mm/US 6 - 16” circular needles
5mm/US 8 - 16” circular needles
5mm/US 8 DPN for decreasing
Optional: Faux Fur Pom

Yarn:
MC - 1 skein DK (100g)
CC1 - 1 skein DK (50g)
Optional: 1 skein mohair 50g - I held the mohair with my working yarn to give it a soft halo.

Sizing: Fits teen/adult head approximately 22-24 inches in circumference.

Gauge: Ribbing approximately 20 stitches per 4 inches un-stretched
