THE MONICA HAT
Inspired by friends who are equal parts impulsive and practical, The Monica Hat was designed to turn an impulse purchase into an essential winter accessory. Have you ever fallen head over heels for a colourful variegated yarn, only to realize that the colours knit up differently than you’d hoped? I sure have. The solution? Monica. Pretty & practical!

The Monica Hat was designed to: Make use of a random ball of very colourful variegated or speckled fingering-weight yarn. Tone down the colours a bit, for a more subtle colour experience. Knit up quickly—so it’s perfect for gift-giving.

FIND YOUR PERFECT FIT
The stitch & round multiples on which MONICA is based are now included in the pattern. For less experienced knitters who want to make a different size, the math is now provided. More experienced knitters can use this same information to make decisions about yarn substitution, gauge etc. I hope this helps empower you to understand your knitting better and to find your perfect fit!
