The Park Ruffle-o is the garment to fulfill all your ruffle crop top needs. I wanted something I could wear throughout the humid summer, but also pair with a jacket for the rest of the year. Knit bottom-up with waist and bust shaping, The Park Ruffle-O is a quick & easy knit that is guaranteed to make you feel as famous as Mark Ruffalo.

Needles & Notions:
Size US 6 / 4mm circular needle (cable length will vary depending on size of garment you are knitting)
Size US 7 / 4.5mm circular needle (for the CO only, cable length will vary depending on size of garment you are knitting)
Stitch markers, stitch holder/scrap yarn, tapestry needle

Sizing:
XS(S, M, L, XL) (XXL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL)
28(32, 36, 40, 44) (48, 52, 56, 60) inches
71(81, 91.5, 101.5, 112) (122, 132, 142, 153) cm
Pick a size with 4-6” of negative ease! Meaning, a bust measurement that is 4-6” smaller than your actual bust measurement (or 1-3” if you are want a less fitted look & up to 8” for an even more fitted look.)
The measurements shown here are the measurements of the finished garment.
I am pictured wearing the size Small with 4” of negative ease- my actual bust measurement is 36”.

Gauge:
24 stitches and 32 rows/4” on a US 6, stockinette stitch, in the round, blocked.
22 stitches and 31 rows/4” on a US 6, post ruffle decrease and majority of top.
Note on gauge: The ruffle construction significantly affects the gauge of the top. When swatching, aim for 24 sts/4”, in the round, blocked. Once we are about an inch or so past the ruffle decrease, the gauge should even out to 22sts/4”. If this is not the case, adjust your needle size accordingly.

Yarn:
DK weight
100% Mercerized Cotton
OR
Any yarn in any fiber that gets gauge!
Note on fiber: The fiber you choose could also affect the post ruffle gauge. If working with a linen or hemp, it might be worth it to go down a needle size for the ruffle decrease and the following inch or so.

Yardage:
350(430, 535, 590, 700) (775, 870, 1100, 1275) yards

Provided in the pattern are some recommendations and notes on how to modify the top for your specific body!
