The Pot is worked in overlay mosaic crochet and comes in eight different sizes which allows it to be used in a myriad of ways. It can be a plant pot, a storage bin, a hook pot, or indeed just a pot for your bits and pieces The Pot is worked from the bottom up starting with a flat circular base, joining on to an overlay mosaic crochet body and is finished off with a row of crab stitch giving it a lovely decorative edge.

There are four body motifs to choose from and once you add different colour ways into the mix you will have a gorgeous unique and personal pot.

The Pot is worked with 2 strands of aran/worsted cotton yarn which gives strength to it’s body and allows it to stand upright.
The yardage is dependent on the size and pattern chosen. The smaller sizes make this a great stash buster as the smallest size only uses 45 meters of yarn.

It is a beginner/intermediate pattern with lots of handy tutorials to help if you are fairly new to mosaic crochet. There is also a video tutorial where I demonstrate how to make the 9cm pot.
