About this pattern
The word “riaa” means “little river” or “stream” in my Italian dialect, which is what inspired the soft cables of this beanie.
The Riaa beanie is an advanced beginner pattern that comes in three different sizes (Toddler, Child, Adult). It is worked in the round from the bottom up and uses light bulky yarn.
Basic knowledges of knitting in the round are required. Other than some basic cable techniques, only knits, purls and basic decreases are used in this pattern.

The pattern includes both US and metric terms.

I’m very happy to share this beanie with you and I would love to see your work! Please use the hashtag #riaabeanie when sharing it on social media and tag me @wolleyhandmade.

I’m always available if you have any questions!

Stay cozy,
Elisa
