This shawl has soooo many possibilities.. knit it up in any weight you choose! From light worsted to lace mohair! Best to use two strong contrasting colors that really pop.

The top photo shown is knit up with KnitCircus Opulence! Wow such a beautiful drape and these colors are so fun. Used a speckle and a solid (2 skeins), 3 total skeins

I had the most fun when I knit it up with a contrasting striping color such as Schoppel Wolle Edition 3, Spincycle Dyed in The Wool or Dream State.

The seventh picture from the top is knit up in Tosh Mo LIght and Spincycle Dyed in the Wool.

You can make this shawl as large or as small as you wish, just complete the pattern section as many times as you wish and go to the finishing section and complete the last set of rows and instructions!

This is a great shawl for introductory slipped stitches, the pattern is methodical and easy to memorize, yet gives you lots of changes to keep it interesting, especially if you use a striped color for the contrasting.

Thanks so much for your interest in my patterns!
