“The Stock Scarf”
This design has been created as part of the Knit Along with Honey Girl Farms yarn for a Mini Skein project.
it can of course be created with other mini skeins or two skeins of contrasting yarn

The concept for this design has stemmed from the stock scarves that both Jamie and Claire have been wearing in season 3 of Outlander, and from traditional clothing worn in the 18th century.

It wraps around the neck with the centre panel to the throat and then wrapped and tied, of course there are many other ways to wear the design as can be seen in the photos.
The stitches I have used make a slight honeycomb look to the scarf which ties the dyer, Honey Girl Farms, the story of Outlander, and myself together, as bees and beekeeping link us together.

Its made using the small kit of 1 solid skein and 5 mini skeins of fingering weight yarn.
