The Wolf Child is playing dress up with an old wolf skin that is way too big for him. As one of Loki’s children, Narfi is always looking to cause mischief with his brother Vali.

This is the first in a series Children of the Trickster. I will be developing patterns based on Norse Mythology: the Children of Loki. Each one has its own unique stories and is full of its own rich attributes and loveable characteristics sure to capture the hearts and minds of everyone who encounters them.

If you have experience making amigurumi and know how to use the crochet terms below you should be able to use this pattern. This does not teach a novice how to crochet the stitches used.

Materials needed:

3 mm crochet hook
Acrylic yarn weight 4/Aran/Worsted

Yardage: 570-580 yards

Yarns used in design are Big Twist brand: Rust, Light Blue, Medium Grey, White, Cream, Latte, Chocolate Brown, Black

You will use less than a skein of each color of yarn.

Any yarn of the same weight and consistency may be substituted for those listed.

Gauge: 22 stitches x 20 rows of Sc

Pattern is 24 pages in length with multiple pictures within it to show how follow more complicated instructions.

Any changes in hook size or yarn weight change yardage used as well as the finished size of your project.
