The Tie Up Frill Top is a stylish and versatile top that features a unique front tie-up closure, allowing you to adjust the fit to your preference, creating a flattering silhouette. This is the perfect top to show off that cute little bra, or go braless and show off a little side boob. There is an option of a frill collar or a shirt collar, both options framing the neckline beautifully.

CONSTRUCTION
The Tie Up Frill Top is worked from the top down, with the back, fronts and sleeves all worked at the same time. First the yoke is worked back and forth on circular needles, while the neckline is being shaped. The yoke is constructed with shoulder increases on both right side and wrong side rows on the first section. On the next section increases are worked on the sleeves only, and on the final section classic raglan increases are worked on both body and sleeves.

The body is worked straight down with no shaping until the hem, where stitches are increased to create the ruffle. An elastic is added at the same time to create the ruffle edge, meaning the final piece has little joining or seaming.
