The fabled Tigrex. Found in every biome known, these hardy creatures are certainly a force to be reckoned with! They are renowned as the “Roaring Monster” and it’s obvious why - their ear-splitting roar can be heard miles away.
The sheer aggression these creatures display makes them a challenge even to the most veteran of hunters - except this one!
This adorable amigurumi Tigrex is completely tame, and will fiercely protect your home and family with it’s life.
So why not make one for yourself, a family member or a friend? It would make a fantastic gift for any Monster Hunter fan!

My Tigrex comes in at 14 inches (36cm) from nose to tail, and is roughly 7 inches (18cm) wide from wing tip to wing tip. He also stands 4.5 inches (12cm) tall and can fully stand by himself.
If you use a 4mm hook and yarn like I did, these measurements will be accurate.

Stitches used: SC, INC, DEC, CH, SLST, HDC

To make the eyes I recommend needle felting, this is what I did to give it the flush appearance, however felt or embroidery, crochet or even buttons can be used.

For the markings, I tried both SURFACE CROCHET and EMBROIDERY to see how they turned out, and I preferred the surface crochet technique. You have complete creative freedom over the markings of Tigrex - I kept my Tigrex with both techniques for the stripes so it can be easily compared.
