Tony the Triceratops is a great size for little cuddles. My kids don’t leave the house without a Tony in hand! The best part – Tony looks great in any colour.

Notes:
 A yarn with no stretch is best for amigurumi, I ordinarily use cotton.
 When changing colour, pull through new colour on the last stitch of the row prior.
 Amigurumi is usually stitched in the round (unless it says otherwise)
 For this pattern, the following yarns were used:
o CREAM = Scheepjes Stonewashed in col. 801 Moon Stone
o GREEN = Scheepjes Stonewashed in col. 819 New Jade
 I crochet loosely and use a 3.00mm hook with 8ply yarn but everyone differs. Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight to keep stuffing from showing and for any attachments (ie safety eyes) to stay in place.
 The yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of the finished item. My Tony is approximately 24cm tall (9 ½ inches).
 I have used plastic safety eyes but you may also embroider. Please ensure that there are no loose fittings.
