This Tooth Fairy Doll & Tooth Set is knit in the round, using Magic Loop or double pointed needles. The legs, body, arms and head are knit on as you go along. Only the ears, wings and hair are attached later. The shoes, and stockings/tights are knit on. The doll top is removable. The Tooth Fairy Doll (approx. 13” tall) and the Tooth (approx. 6” high) are created using #3-light wt. (DK wt.) yarn. The hair is created using #6-Super Bulky wt. yarn. The Tooth Fairy Doll has a Tooth Bag where the precious tooth can be placed. It’s big enough so the Tooth Fairy can leave her “present” when she removes the tooth. The Tooth has an indentation at the top, where the precious tooth can be placed. It also has a mouth pocket where the Tooth Fairy can leave her “present”. Both the Tooth Fairy Doll and the Tooth can be hung on a doorknob for unnoticeable, easy tooth removal. How exciting and reassuring for a child to place his/her tooth in a safe, friendly place, knowing it will be guarded until the “real” Tooth Fairy arrives to retrieve it!
