Trail Mix is a pattern for a family of hats: child through adult large. The pattern features a simple slipped-stitch motif. The project was designed the 2024 Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop and is suitable for advanced beginners.

Finished Dimensions
Small (Medium, Large): 14” (16, 18.5)“ circumference at brim, 5.25” (6.5, 7)” tall, after blocking. Hats will stretch. If you’d like to add length, do so with main color before crown decreases.

You’ll Need
Fairy Trail Kit available at The Yarnery, includes Stumptown DK by Polka Dot Sheep: 1 full skein (231 yds, 100 g) in custom color Fairy Trail and 3 partial skeins (57 yds, 25 g) in Atlantis, Beartooth, and Sage. The kit includes yarn enough to knit all three hats, and a pompom or two
US 4 (3.5 mm) and US 6 (4.00 mm) 16”circular needles, and US 6 double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
