It is name the TRAX cowl. TRAX is defined by a series of loops and lines, whether that is multiples of electrified train trax, or whether that is a complex strategy of loops and lines.

In New Zealand we spend a lot of time outdoors walking tracks in the bush, or on tracks on the side of the road, or take tracks down to the beaches. Often these walks are lines and loops carefully created in order to get somewhere but they become well worn. Somewhat like the pattern in this cowl.

TRAX is a beautifully textured 4ply cowl, with a design construction that allows you to create this in a solid, or to create this using a variety of colours to enable this to be worn with a number of colour ways by using yarn to pop colours.

Gauge does not matter for this pattern at all.

This is a one skein pattern and can be knitted with any construction of 4ply/fingering yarn to gain the warmth, feel and texture that you want as a knitter.

My desire for you is to have a simple memorable pattern that you can knit while at knitting group, or amidst family or while stressed that allows you to mindfully create. Adding pops of colour adds variety and texture allowing this cowl to be your unique creation.

Most of all enjoy it.
