I just love a really long scarf – one that can be wrapped around the neck several times for cozy, comforting warmth without being too bulky or feeling like you’re being strangled.  This Trellis Scarf fits the bill and is a perfect beginner’s scarf.  It is very quick and easy to make and is adaptable to any size you want.  

The one pictured in this pattern measures 18cm (7”) wide and 250cm (98”) long (excluding pompoms).  You can make it wider by adding chains in multiples of 2 to the foundation row.  You can make it as long or as short as you wish by eliminating or adding rows.
