A beautiful new triangular shawl “Kabye” is ready, it has a eye-cathing braid-pattern, but is not too heavy/dense, because of the stripes between the braids. The wonderful border around the scarf makes it something really special.

The shawl “Kabye” is crocheted asymmetrically, the size can be changed as desired.

The pattern is intended for a bit more experienced crocheters.

Following stitches are used:

  • chain stitch
  • slip stitch
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • treble crochet
  • front post double crochet
  • back post double crochet
  • front post treble crochet
  • picot
  • crochet stitches together

The pattern (22 pages) also includes a crochet chart for all rows, if you prefer this type of instruction. Many photos help in better understanding the pattern.

The finished shawl has the following edge lengths: 110 x 110 x 145 cm. Depending on the wool and crochet hook used, the size may vary. The shawl can be crocheted as large or small as you like.

Used tools:

  • crochet hook 3.5 mm
  • sissors
  • sewing needle
  • stitch marker
