Tsang is part of one of the four traditional provinces of Tibet, making up the south-central region of the Tibetan cultural area, including the Brahmaputra River watershed.
That culture in mind, I‘ve chosen this lovely Tibetan Baby Yak Lace yarn in 3 colors for this shawl, Tibetan Sky, Saffron and Oatmeal, and created an easy-to-knit piece, worked on the bias.

Sections of stockinette stitch and reverse stockinette alternate along the shawl. They are separated by lines of chain stitches, created by binding-off all stitches and picking them up again in the next step. These lines also alternate and are worked in a contrasting color to the main sections, appearing in turn on the right side and on the wrong side of the shawl. The chain stitch lines look like running stitch lines from the other side of the shawl.

This makes the shawl reversible – looking its best, whichever side is facing.

The pattern comes with a coloring sheet, to color in your own colors.
