This pattern is for a small crochet turtle, it fits in the palm of your hand, you can make it as big or small as you want. I used a 3.5mm hook for this project but you can use up to a 5mm without having gaps in the stitches. This pattern is in US terms, and is very easy for beginners seeing as nothing really has to be exact to have a cute turtle! you can use it as a pin cushion, cat toy, a cute friend for your desk, keychain, or even a dog toy, although I don’t recommend for heavy chewers, I have a Great Pyrenees who loves them, she only likes to nibble on them though, so if you have a pet who likes to destroy toys just leave out the safety eyes.
