These mittens are based on the traditional mittens from Newfoundland. The stranded knitting with the salt and pepper pattern makes a double layer of yarn, keeping baby’s hands nice and warm.
They are knitted in the round from the cuff to the tip, no thumbs to worry about, making it easy to put on tiny hands.
