This infinity scarf has a beautiful fairisle section of twin birds and plain texture around the remaining loop.

The scarf is knit with Double Knitting weight yarn, specifically Alpaca Superfine Double Knitting (75% alpaca, 25% wool), 50 grams/112meters with 2 balls of Blue, 1 ball of Parchment, and 1 ball of Gold. The alpaca and wool mix makes for a particularly soft and warm scarf! However any Double Knitting weight yarn would be suitable.

The scarf is started with an invisible cast on and then knit back and forth until the specified length, then grafted to the invisible cast on to create a seamless cowl/infinity scarf. There is a chart for the fairisle section and the remaining of the loop is a simple textured pattern with knits/purls.
