The Twist and Lace sock has more than a few twists! It is knit from the cuff down and has a predominately reverse stockinette stitch face. The twisted stitches stand out beautifully and boast small windows of lace. This is a great pattern for anyone who has not done twisted stitch patterning.

Size: Women’s Medium (foot circumferences: 8”).
The pattern is sized for the average woman’s foot. To
make smaller, go down in needle size and knit a little
tighter. To enlarge, use needles one size up.

Gauge: 30 st/4” in Stockinette stitch

Needles: (2) US 1 (2.50mm) circulars 16” or longer or sized to
obtain gauge

Materials: Alpaca with a Twist’s Socrates (30% Baby
Alpaca / 30% Merino Wool / 20% Bamboo / 20%
Nylon: 400 yds/100g)

Yardage: Approximately 310 (280, 350) yards of
Fingering Weight (1 ball)
