Uisge ciùinuisge…calm water. Just as this lovely shade of Lichen and Lace implies. A deep calm pool of blue is softened with accents of marsh mohair. Early morning sunrise over the Salish Sea welcoming a new day.

This wrap has a lovely Saxon Braid Cable flanked with wave cables on either side along one border.

The “neckline” border is my usual C2B edging and the cast-off border this time is a picot border with a bit of a “flounce”. It starts off with a 3-stitch cast on, then we “build” the cabled border while increasing on one side of this wrap on every row and add in the Lace pattern as stitches permit, ending up with a right-angle triangle. I had a little bit of Sweatermaker Mohair in my stash and added it in as well. It is a hand-spun yarn with pretty little blue beads .
