Enjoy a little take-along luxury with this charming scarf. Follow the directions for knitting Umbria without beads, or rise to the occasion and discover how easy beading your knitting can be. Add extra sparkle to your favorite sock yarn with beading along the emerging diamonds of the herringbone pattern. You’ll knit from the seed stitch trim through the first half of the scarf and the ribbed neck, then cast on and knit the remainder of the scarf so your two halves will make a perfect match. A scarf loop or a button loop makes it easy to style.
