Untitled 1601
This in an artwork which can be worn as performance art, or worked in plainer yarns for everyday wear. It is a pair of Frankensocks, i.e. socks made from yarn left over from previous projects. Choose from seven different panel patterns to repeat or combine on the leg and foot.
There are two separate sock patterns for knitting cuff-down and toe-up, and both patterns include options to knit the sock with a small, medium or large number of sts per round. You can further adjust the width of the sock by using one of two needle sizes. That gives a total of 2 styles, 2 sock-knitting methods and 5 width-adjustments. Foot length and leg length are infinitely adjustable.
Gauge
34 sts per 4in for medium size; 28 sts per 4in for large size.
