Up In The Air is a handknit sweater design worked seamlessly in the round from the top down. Short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher neckline in back and then the yoke is worked until the sleeves are separated from the body. The colorwork motif in the yoke is friendly to knitters new to colorwork knitting. The body and sleeves are then worked in stockinette stich to the hem/cuffs which are knit in a 1x1 rib. The cardigan is knit in the round utilizing a steek with knit-on button/buttonhole bands. Up in the Air about whether to knit a pullover or a cardigan?!! No worries!! This pattern includes both the pullover and cardigan versions! Who’s ready for virtual Rhinebeck?!!!
