This beautiful rainbow was created by the wildly talented Kralalien of Colourful Creativity. Would you like to rock your own ballet rainbow? Hop over to the Colourful Creativity shop.

This collection has just undergone a major update. This update includes improved fit, expanded sizes for the Urban Ballerina Shrug, easier-to-read pattern layout, and clearer photos for your knitting pleasure!

When I was a child, I always wanted to be a ballerina. It turns out that I am too clumsy, too tall, and too curvy, but I never stopped loving ballet, ballerinas, or the culture of dance. Now I consider myself a ballerina at heart, and I like to incorporate a little ballet-style into my wardrobe. This shrug is a fun way to feel like a dancer in your everyday life. The Urban Ballerina shrug is knit seamlessly from the top down, using a twist on the raglan yoke. The full length sleeves and open front allow you to add drama to your wardrobe without covering up your favorite tank or dress. If you are a dancer at heart, I invite you to craft your own rainbow and set your inner ballerina free!

This pattern includes detailed instructions for choosing your size and getting the right fit for your body.
