Supplies Needed for ALL the accessories (scarf, boot cuffs and wrist warmers):
-Size N 9mm hook
-2 sew-on snaps
-Scissors, yarn needle and measuring tape
-2-3 skeins of Lion Brand Vel-luxe yarn, 1 skein divided in half (you technically could use any size 4 yarn for the hat body, but the vel-luxe makes it extremely soft and warm)
-3 skeins of Lion Brand’s Go For the Faux yarn in the color of your choice (they have multiple colors: Chincilla (which is a light silver with a dark undertone), light pink, light blue, and an off white)
(NOTE: if you bought the Ushanka Hat pattern and you haven’t purchased your yarn yet, I recommend getting 4 skeins of Vel-luxe yarn and 3 skeins of the fur yarn total. This should be enough to make your hat + accessories)
Gauge:
Using the N 9 mm hook and double strands of the Vel-luxe yarn, chain 12. DC in the 3rd ch from your hook and to end. Your strip should measure approx 10 mm in length and each stitch should be approx. 3 mm tall. I crochet fairly loosely with this material, so I highly recommend doing this gauge swatch to see if you need to adjust your hook size to get my gauge.

Stitces used with their abbreviations:
-double crochet (dc)
-Half double crochet (hdc)
-chain (ch)
-Slip stitch (sl st)
-Double crochet decrease (dc decrease)
