This pattern is written in U.S. crochet terms.

For this pattern you will need:
- contrasting colors of yarn

You can use some of these brands if they are available to you for this pattern Aunt Lydia’s fashion 3 size 100% Mercerized cotton or “Patons Grace” 100% mercerized cotton or any other similar to these.

  • 2 mm crochet hook
  • yarn needle

Finished size of the holder is about 13cm/5in x 10cm/4in when closed.
Finished size of the graph is about 11cm/4.3in x 24cm/9.5in without red border.

Level: beginner/intermediate

The holder is made using C2C (corner to corner) technique. You need to be familiar with C2C to make this holder as there are no instructions how to crochet C2C.
If you are not familiar with this technique please contact me through Etsy conversation and I will send you links for video tutorials that I find suitable for beginners.
Pattern includes heart graph in words (word color count) and picture (square graph with marked rows) and instructions how to join sides to finish it.

It is really easy and fun to do. And most of all quick so it is perfect last minute gift.
