Vaña sweater is knitted holding two strands, fingering weight wool and silk mohair, together. With large needles the garment knits up really fast, almost by itself.

The main fabric is reversed stockinette with twisted ribbing lines. And don’t you worry, you don’t need to purl it: the sweater is knitted from the wrong side and turned inside out for working the ribbings - so you mainly only work in stockinette stitch.

The sweater is worked from the top to down seamlessly. First cast on the neckline stitches, then work ribbing, some short rows to shape the neck and then stockinette yoke with front and backside lines. Then divide the sleeves from the body, and work body. For hem turn the work inside out and work hem ribbing on your purl side.

After body work sleeves in stockinette st and make your inside out trick as for the hem.

The sample is made with fingering weight wool and silk mohair but you can use any yarn that goes to gauge nicely, DK for example.
