This crochet pattern is for a man’s short sleeve T-Shirt, with a 50s inspired vertical stripe pattern. The shirt body is made in one piece and is constructed sideways to make striping easier. Arms are made separately and continue the stripe pattern, so they are made sideways as well.
Please note: stripe design is slightly different for each size, to accommodate sizing changes.
All shaping and colour changes are fully described. It is assumed the maker is already familiar with colour changes at the end of rows, as these are not described in the pattern.

The pattern comes in five sizes, (Small, Medium, Large, XL and XXL) and the pattern for each size has been adjusted specifically for the fit. Therefore, you will receive five pdfs with one pattern, one pdf for each size.

The pattern uses DK cotton,
Patons 100% Cotton DK, 100g - Pale Green (2747) Sml, Med, Lrg, XL x 2, XXL x 3
Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK, 50g - Midnight Blue (438) Sml x 6, Med Lrg, XL x 7, XXL x 8
Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK, 50g - Paper White (401) x 2

Equipment Needed (not supplied)
4 mm Crochet Hook
Large eye darning needle
Stitch Markers
Scissors
I have listed this pattern as “intermediate” because of shaping and pattern techniques. The instructions include lots of detail for stitch placement. There is a lot of stretch in the finished item, so the sizing is only approximate. You are purchasing the .pdf pattern only, which includes full written instructions. You will receive five versions of the pattern, one for each size.
