Vesavi means summer in the Telugu language. This light and airy shawl is perfect for the cooler summer nights!
This quick knit, crescent shawl is knitted side-to-side. Stripes worked while carrying your yarn, so that the only ends to weave in, are at cast on and bind off.
A small section of mosaic knitting, created with slipped stitches. You only have one color to work with on each row.

I have included instructions to make the small(shown in pink and gray) and Medium(shown in blue and white). Once finished add some fringe, and done!

What you need:

One skein of MC, one skein of Contrast color. Sample(size small) used:
C1: 1 skein of Sapphires-n-Purls Merino/Yak/Silk (378 yds/115 grams) Undyed/Natural. 164 yds/ 50 grams used in sample.
C2: 1 skein of Handmade By Zan Super Sock 85% Merino/ 15% Nylon (437 yards/100 grams) in the Fabulous Pink colorway. 393 yds/90 grams used in sample
1 Tapestry needle to weave in ends, and a crochet hook for attaching fringe.
