This modern style gansey-patterned jumper is closely-fitted at the bust, with a hip-skimming A-line flare in the lower body. There are two versions to choose from - the A-line version which falls just below the high hip or the Tunic version which falls at the low hip.

This jumper is knitted completely in one piece with no seams, using traditional gansey construction methods and simple picked up stitches. The stitch patterns are easily memorised and consist of knit, purl and simple cables. Knitted in the round up to the armholes, with an armhole gusset starting after the garter stitch band at the underbust, the front and back bodice sections are worked back & forth and joined along the top of the drop sleeve, with sleeve stitches then picked up around the drop shoulder edge and knitted down, finishing with a garter stitch cuff to mirror styling throughout.
