This is a pattern for a light weight wrap. It’s heavier than a shawl, but just the ideal weight for a spring or fall evening, or even if you’re sensitive to air conditioning in the summer, as it’s made with sport weight yarn. It knits up fairly quickly and would make the ideal gift, for yourself of someone that’s special to you. It is made up of two different lace stitches that are both written out line by line, and charted. The final size is
18 inches by 72 inches, but can easily be made larger, by adding a repeat. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging contained within the pattern, should you want to edge yours.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in the colorway, Brick.

The pattern was expertly pattern tested by Melanie Clark, who can be reached at: thestitchinwench@hotmail.com, and who is known on Ravelry as “thestitchinwench”.
