Note, this free knitting pattern is for making the Viking Helmet only. The toy owl knitting pattern is available to purchase separately.

I made my helmet for a toy to wear, but you could also knit it as a fascinator or small party hat. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the helmet is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

SIZES
One size only - Not including the horns, 6 cm tall x 7cm wide.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
