LISTING FOR KNITTING PATTERN ONLY - Vittorio Cardigan & Hat – P191

This cardigan is worked from the top down with a simple pattern adorning the yoke and hemline. The cardigan has two versions for the sleeves, one knitted in the round, and the other for sleeves knitted flat. The remainder of the cardigan is knitted in stocking stitch. Pattern comes with a matching hat. This has been graded as suitable for the Intermediate knitter.

YARN REQUIREMENTS FOR CARDIGAN
Yarn = the Ozifarmer’s Market - Braemar 8ply 225 mm / 246 yds per 100 g ball. Colour Taupe. However any 8ply DK yarn can be used as long as the tension/gauge is the same as pattern.
A -- 110 g -- 250 m -- 270 yds
B – 145 g – 325 m – 355 yds
C – 185 g – 415 m – 455 yds
D – 230 g – 455 m – 565 yds

YARN REQUIREMENTS FOR HAT
A – 30 g – 70 m – 75 yds
B – 35 g – 80 m – 85 yds
C – 45 g – 100 m – 110 yds
D – 55 g – 125 m – 135 yds

NEEDLES REQUIRED
4 mm (US 6 : UK 8) circulars or
extra long straight needles.
One set of 4mm (US 6 : UK 8) double pointed needles if working sleeves in the round.

OTHER MATERIALS
Stitch holders
1 x Button -- 2 cm (¾ in)

TENSION
Gauge/tension 22 sts / 30 rows = 10 cm (4 in) using 3.75 (US 5 : UK 9) needles worked in stocking stitch.
Update : Tension is worked on 4mm (US 6 : UK 8) needles.
