This is a pair of socks with a pretty and simple design. They’re knit from the toe up. Only knit and purl stitches, all you need to stay awake while knitting! This pattern is in 3 sizes.
Materials
Fingering weight yarn (no 1), a hank of 100g. I used Kassou from Fybrelia, 80 % merinos and 20 % nylon : one skein of 4 oz(115 g), 437 yds/400 meters.
A 2.5 mm circular needle 32’’/80 cm (or 40’’/100 cm) long or the size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 30 sts X 44 rows in stockinette stitch (k in round).
Sizes
Small : 7 to 8.25’’/18 to 21 cm width and 7.5 to 8.25’’/19 to 21 cm foot length.
Medium : 8.5 to 10’’/21 to 25 cm width and 8.25 to 9.5’’/21 to 24 cm foot length.
Large : 10 to 11.5’’/25 to 29 cm width and 10 to 11.5’’/25 to 29 cm/10 à 11.5’’ foot length.

False or true cable? This is a pair of socks with a pretty and simple design. They’re knit from the toes up. Only knit and purl stitches, with a cable that runs at center of instep, and front leg, and back of leg. And if you choose longer alternative, the same cable will run on sides of leg.
Materials
Fingering weight yarn (no 1), a hank of 100g. I used one skein of Noro Taiyo socks, 50 % cotton, 17% wool, 17% nylon and 16 % silk: 3.5 oz (100g), 460 yds/420 meters.
A 2.5 mm circular needle 32’’/80 cm long or the size neede to get a gauge of 30 sts X 44 rows in stockinette stitch (k in round).
Size
With mentioned gauge, sock should fit a 8.5 to 10’’/21 to 25-cm circumference foot. Length is explained for 8.5 to 9.5’’/21 to 24-cm long foot: adjust for a longer foot. Right under the calf, sock should fit a 12 to 14’’/30 to 36-cm circumference leg (with wider sock version).
