This triangle shawl uses the very simplest of filet work to create pretty eyelets in this cosy winter warmer. Some interesting techniques are used along the way (fptr, camel st), making it the perfect project to improve your crochet skill set.

Included here is the written pattern and two charts. Waking Winter is suitable for confident beginners.

Both UK and US versions are downloaded on purchase.

Materials:
● Blacker Yarns, Blacker Tamar Lustre Blend, DK, 100% Pure New Wool,  100g/220m/238yds, 2x Valency (Yarn A), 1x Kensey (Yarn B), 1x Lynher (Yarn C)  ● 3.75mm hook (US F/5)  ● Stitch markers (helpful to indicate end/beginning of rows)

Pre Blocking Tension:
Whilst tension isn’t critical for this project, it will affect the amount of yarn you need. 10cm / 4 inches = 18 UK tr / US dc and 9 rows

Measurements (after blocking):
185 x 71cm / 73 x 28 inches

Abbreviations:     2trtog = 2 treble crochet together (see special stitches)  ch = chain  ch-sp = chain space  dc = double crochet   fptr = front post treble  rep = repeat  sl st = slip stitch  st(s) = stitch(es)  tr = treble

Notes:
  ● The chains at the beginning of rows count as a stitch.
   ● 3ch counts as 1tr.
  ● 4ch counts as 1tr & 1ch.
  ● Crochet loosely for Row 54. You may find it easier to go up a hook size.
● Each row increases by 3 stitches per row (per side).
