Loom Knit Vest Pattern, PDF File.

Pattern Description: This is a loom knitting pattern (not regular knitting) for a beautiful waterfall vest. 2 options are given within the pattern for front border using either crochet (shown) or a garter border (lays flat, not shown). Worked as one piece, with no seaming, increasing/decreasing needed. Sizing is adjustable by the loom knitter. This is a great first garment for any loom knitter.

Loom needed: 3/8”/1 cm peg spacing loom with 110 pegs. An extender will be needed if using the all-in-one loom by KB. CinDWood also has a suitable loom (afghan loom). Any brand loom that meets the peg numbers and peg spacing will give the same result, loom brand does not matter. More pegs will be needed if you would like to make custom sizes.

Level: Confident Beginner.

Skills needed: Knit, purl, chain bind off/cast on, binding on and off within a row, pattern reading. The pattern is not videotaped but all skills used within this pattern have video links for how they are done.

Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4”/10.2 cm in stockinette stitch.

Finished Measurements: 45”/114.3 cm wide x 22”/55.9 cm long. The main pattern is written for one size only fitting a range of sizes. Complete directions are given for adjusting this to your custom measurements (any size is possible, this is easy to alter).
