Draw on the power of the moon to make the ultimate mini skein shawl! This pattern is absolutely perfect for Advent Calendar or any mini skein yarn sets. Use twelve 20 gram minis to create a half circle or twenty-four 20 gram minis to create a full circle. The full circle makes a great cape that drapes wonderfully over your arms. The half circle makes a generous shawl that can be worn over the shoulders or wrapped around your neck. An additional full skein can be used to add an optional lace knitted on border or you can work a twisted edge border as you go. Each wedge of the circle is formed in garter stitch short rows which makes this a relaxing yet engaging knit. This is an extremely versatile pattern with 2 border options, and four different shawl sizes included.

Half vs Full Circle
Half Circle is made from 12 wedges.
Full Circle is made from 24 wedges.

The Full Circle makes a great cape that drapes wonderfully over your arms. You can also graft the edges of the circle together if you desire to create a completed circle rather than an open circle cape.

The Half Circle makes a generous shawl that can be worn over the shoulders or wrapped around your neck.
