In this 21 page Mystery Crochet Along pattern, which uses US terminology, I will be introducing you week by week, over a four week period to two very special versions of my Weebee Vintage Ragdoll, Sally!

How will this Mystery Crochet Along work?
A crochet along involves a group of people all working on the same pattern at the same pace. The mystery element of a crochet along being that you won’t know entirely what you’re working on until the very last week!

PLEASE NOTE: you DO NOT need to premake anything before this MCAL starts as the doll bodies are included in the pattern.

This MCAL will begin on Saturday 21st November 2020, GMT and last for 4 weeks.

Updates will be posted in the form of a further PDF to your Ravelry Library and/or email address (if you have no Ravelry account) every Saturday from then on for a further 3 weeks. You will receive an email and a Ravelry message (again if you have an account) to inform you that this has happened.

Schedule:
Part 1: Saturday 21st November 2020
Part 2: Saturday 28th November 2020
Part 3: Saturday 5th December 2020
Part 4: Saturday 12th December 2020

A week after the MCAL has ended on Saturday 19th December 2020 I will remove the 5 PDF’s – the welcome document, parts one, two, three and four – and replace them with the whole pattern. I will also rename the pattern. Again you will receive an update to let you know that this has taken place. You will still be able to access the pattern even though the name of it will have changed.

Hook with confidence!
All the aspects of this pattern have been tested and proofread by several talented and experienced crocheters! However in the event that you do find an error in any aspect of the MCAL please do not hesitate to contact me and I will amend as soon as possible.

My Dolls
As with all of my other patterns, you can of course choose to use whatever yarn weight and hook size is convenient for you. If you would like to replicate my doll exactly there is a full list of the yarns I used in the welcome pdf you will receive when you sign up to this MCAL when you purchase the pattern here.

You will also need the following:
2 – 4 yards of 6 inch wide pale pink tulle (amount will depend on the size of your doll once made – may differ in size to mine due to personal gauge, yarn brand, hook size etc). I bought mine from Ebay.
Two pairs of 8mm safety eyes – I used a pair of blue and a pair of gold 3D Glitter Eyes from Cello Express online.
Toy stuffing.
Optional - A small makeup brush and some blush.
A crochet hook suitable for the yarn weight you have chosen. I used a 3mm hook with the Aran/10ply/Worsted/Number 4 weight yarn and a 4mm hook with the DK/8ply/Light Worsted/Number 3 weight yarn. If using the same yarns as me, please see note re hook size for the two different weight yarns.

If you have any questions or queries about this pattern please do not hesitate to contact me!
