Welcome Spring!

We finally made it out of the long, snowy winter into spring! We’ve come out the other side and now it’s time for some warm weather knitting. Welcome Spring! I just had to knit an extremely beaded cowl and I hope you will want to knit one for yourself, too. Adding beads to your knitting is so much fun with this easy method. This cowl has quite a few beads, 1,235 to be exact, but feel free to use as many or as few beads as you like in the design. I strung on 40 grams (2 packs) of beads in two colors, alternating between pink and orange to compliment the yarn. I thought that would be enough, but I had to add another 40 grams. I hope you enjoy it! Although I love knitting with beads, this design may be knit without them, too!

It is approximately 5” deep x 25” in circumference. Gauge: 5 sts./in.
The piece is knit flat with selvage edges and seamed with a “fake” three-needle bind off. Instructions provided in the pattern.

Knit one for Mom!
Enjoy!
