This pattern was originally designed for the 2017 Ysolda Club.To be the first to find out about future clubs sign up for my newsletter.

A fun lace adventure that breaks a complicated design down into manageable chunks. It begins with the contrast colour inset border which is worked from end to end. This border combines elements of several traditional lace patterns into an asymmetrical pattern which is naturally longer on one edge than the other—without short rows. Yarn overs worked right at the edge of the border make it easy to pick up stitches from it for the centre, which is decreased inwards and joined at the centre top, and the edging, which is dramatically shaped into points.

Yarn
Fingering weight yarn with good stitch definition and nice drape.
