While stand-up paddleboarding off the coast of south Maui, I gazed over to the west side of the island and thought of the sock pattern I was designing. This pattern is named for the West Maui mountains whose tops reminded me of the ridges on the eyelet row of these socks! Create fun socks by using simple techniques with this charted pattern that is suitable for beginning sock knitters.

This pattern is suitable for beginner knitters familiar sock knitting construction, toe-up sock techniques and basic knitting stitches. The pattern includes charts for the instep and foot. The pattern is in digital (.pdf) form and is available for instant download.
